urban dictionary defines it (dabbin) as an Atlanta lingo of a level of confidence in your swag that can be expressed by raising your left elbow

Some WR of ours did it in the endzone this year as well. Can't remember who it was.

It's just a dance started by the Atlanta hip hop scene. Like the Nae Nae. I'm not sure about the whip though.

You do realize this dance came out almost two years ago in a youtube video, right? NFL players didn't create it because of some mom.

Dap is the fist bump.

Miles and chavis dapped at the end of the game.

Dab is another stupid dance.

It's what we do on the sideline during a timeout taken to avoid delay of game ... to get us ready for the delay of game, false start, or complete clusterfrick of a play when we come out of the timeout.

What?

I think you misread my post, maybe read it again. Where did I say an NFL player created it?

The mother writing a letter to Cam + Titans fans trying to fight him over his touchdown celebration is how the dance started getting discussed on ESPN and other media outlets.

Of course the dance has been around for a while, but it's only recently become known to mainstream white America. That's how all hip hop trends work.
