This reminds of the ending of the Ole Miss game in slow motion, played out over the course of several months.

Really, Les? You let Chris Garrett get away and pinned your hopes on Zach Lee, who is about to sign with the Dodgers leaving us with no QB's after our two Juniors? Really?

These guys seem to be against planning or preparation.

instead lets not release a player who requests it and not recruit talent.

much better plan.

Let them have the option of offering $2 million and see what happens.

dude he's not gone yet... by this same logic, if he stays with lsu then you have to admit the opposite about LM and GC

What if Les knew ZL would leave and rather than have Garrett play here, he sends him to Northwestern St to play for his buddy BDP, while gaining experience to transfer back?

"Pinned your hopes" being the key phrase.

It wasn't wrong to take a chance on Zach Lee. It was wrong for him to be the only option.

Wow. The delusion is great on this board tonight.

Garrett looked pretty fat in the one pic I saw of him at NSU, doubt he even starts there.

I don't think Garrett was working out.

Once Lee signed, good luck getting another qb of his caliber to come in.

Give me a break. Talk to ANYBODY around the LSU program...Garret was an impressive looking guy with big talent, but did not want to put in the time or effort to compete the way he needed to. He didn't want to compete, so he went where he thought he could start right away.

It is nights like this that I love to be hanging out on droppings.
