Crowton.. not a chance IMO. 7 TDs on the season passing.

no .... we got lucky to be where we were at this year. if someone else doesn't call the offense next year, we are not gonna get have 10 wins with gary crowton unless he starts calling a more unpredictable offense, and the defense steadily got worse throughout the year..... gotta be some changes!

Only if Chavis can construct the perfect defense consisting of clones of John Henderson, Albert Haynesworth, Leonard Little, Al Wilson, Jerod Mayo, Deon Grant, Eric Berry and Patrick Peterson.

I'm starting to believe that LSU fans don't deserve any more championships. Three times in our program's history have the fans been able to enjoy the fact that the team finished at the top. THREE TIMES....now you all just expect it. All of this result based thinking is starting to make me sick. Doesn't anyone actually enjoy watching the games anymore?? Or do you just watch, fearful that this might be the game that ruins YOUR MNC dreams. What a bunch of bullshite.

Crowton will be gone. If I'm not mistaken, his contract is up...I'd look for Billy Gonzales to be the new OC.

Crowton has already won a national championship at LSU.
The play calling has drastically changed since then. I'm guessing Miles has a very strong say in the play calling now.
However I dont think we will because of Chavis. He was a solid hire given the circumstances, but he's an avg DC. We struggle mightedly against the spread and against a mobile QB. In general, you need a stout defense to win a championship but with our schemes and players wearing down at the end of the year, doesnt look likely.

Crowton hasnt had a decent QB in years. With Mett he may be able to find some of that 07 magic again. The Wizard may still have some life left in him.
