Watson against no defenses in the ACC or Fournette vs. SEC defenses week-in, week-out.

I think LF7 has a good shot at the Heisman but if I had to lay money I'm taking Watson & the field.

Even if we're only talking running backs I'd take the field over Fournette for the Heisman. But Fournette is the best running back, and probably the best player, in all of college football.

Hell, he was hands down the best player in college football last year, and he wasn't even invited to the presentation.

I am taking the field. Since LSU can't beat Bama, and can't throw forward passes. LSU will likely run into the same issues this season that they did last season.

Definitely the field, especially with the returning top end talent that also has name recognition. Guys like Watson, McCaffery, and Cook will be stiff competition. I'll tell you one thing, though- I wouldn't trade Leonard for any of them

All of this. All you're gonna hear until the bama game is "Well let's see how fournette does against bama"
If he does well against bama and for the rest of the season, it's his to lose.
But before the bama game, I believe it's gonna be Watson as the front runner.
Unless Clemson Clemsons

I hate to keep the Bama narrative going. But that's all the media will see. I don't agree with it. But it is what it is.

This is such a weak argument.

FSU has a pretty good defense. Watson also torched the BAMA defense too..

If Heisman, the field. If who do you want on your team, Fournette.

Yet put up less points against syracuse than Fournette and LSU.

If Clemson was in the sec west, they wouldn't have made the playoffs.

Stupid award
If you win it it basically means you were not the best player. They never get it right.
