MVP award

Quick read...Leonard Fournette was given the MVP award for the Auburn game, and he gave it to his FB, John David Moore. Gotta love it!

JD selfishly kept it instead of bestowing it on someone else. That kid needs to develop some leadership. /sarcasm font

Yep...I heard Coach Miles talking about it this morning on XM College radio. LF is a class act and an excellent team leader!

We should hire LF7 20 years from now to be our head coach. Dude is amazingly humble, knows football, and is an awesome leader.

He's one of those rare people that we will tell our great-grandkids about decades from now.

Some guys get it. Most don't. LF7 does.

I think Harris is the same way.

I have the perfect spot in my home for that Heisman Leonard if you want to give that away. Stay humble and let me help.

He did something similar in HS. Got some statewide award but then turned around and passed it on to a guy from another school, I believe.

Guess his trophy case is already full.

ETA: Well, crap. It's right there in the article.

I was at the Prep Player of the Year banquet when Leonard, who was undoubtedly the best player in the state, graciously gave his trophy to the QB of the state champion East Jefferson Warriors.

Guys, LF is going to go down as one of the best. Enjoy it while we have him in purple and gold. He will, like many others, be a great ambassador for LSU once his time here is done. It's been and will be a pleasure to watch him for years to come.

I didn't. I saw that for what it was: a horribly misunderstood troll.

This fullback really does a great job. He gets to second line and blocks (not hits) the linebacker.

Also, at the press conference seemed like he doesn't care if he ever gets a carry. Is all about the team and trying to help the offense. Perfect mentality for a FB. Props to LF7 for giving him the award. Class move.
