Both guys in the booth are equally awful... Best though was on Nola strike 3 pitch when one of them said he blew the fastball by him when it was clearly a breaking ball..

Didnt care much at all for the color guy. Bland voice and some at bats were totally talked over - when he started talking about the Puerto Rico pitchers training - i was thinking - man, i dont care - finally turned his voice down and listened to Hawthorne on the radio - was correct on 100% of the pitches I then saw on the internet.
that said, there sons or daughters would probably do better than i could with commentary.

The guy had a boring presentation but he was obviously knowledgeable about the game and gave LSU their props at every opportunity.

The guy came across as having close to a zero baseball IQ. Either he is really dumb or just doesn't know how to speak. Either way he was bad, regardless of the compliments.
A color guy should be able to provide insight on what's going on with the game, not give insight on 12 year old Zane Sullivan.

I didn't like him, I googled his website, he has had many "special assistant" jobs, I may be way off on this but I think those jobs are created for arse kissers. I believe he has pull, not sure for what reason

Guy was an idiot at one point said he was not impressed with Nola, that he didn't see a first round pitcher, then at one point called him out as needing to step it up. When Jones came to bat after that spectacular play on the ball hit up the middle said he not seen anything from Jones to support the hype

He was correct about bunting blondie in the 8th with one out. It was very unlikely he would even make contact against a good lefty curveball.

Even if you loved the colored commentator, you have to admit, when he referred to looking out into the stands and being impresssed with all the blue and yellow shirts.....then corrected himself, to purple and yellow. That was bad.
