Traffic. I think last night, people started leaving early...and slowly trickled out as the game progressed. However, if there is a close game in front of a big crowd, and everyone tries to leave at the same time, traffic is going to be a huge clusterfrick, FWIW IMHO LOLZ BYOB

WOW, LSU fans leaving a game early- what a f-ing shocker

That actually isn't frowned upon at baseball...and I can pretty much understand why.

Plus that game seemed like it just kept going on and on.

That will be a mess. Might be worse than a football game, especially the first time it happens.

I stayed until the end.

At many LSU sporting events, that is the sure-fire way to avoid traffic...

I know. I pulled right out of the hayfield lot without any problems.

It did. It wne on for 9 innings. It's a baseball game. There is no clock in baseball.

This will take a lot of getting used to IMO...since the new park is in a completely different part of town than the old one...Where there was never any traffic.

Don't think it will be a problem. They have it nicely set up to flow in logical directions. Football is just a mess because people are parking everywhere.

I left after the first inning to beat the traffic!

You are right about that- it was NOT freezing. It's baseball and it is February- it's supposed to be cold. Anyway, I do understand your point, so...

My sister is long-time (30+ years) season ticket holder; her tix are in left field. Today she told me that she cannot read anything on the new scoreboard!
Only way they can keep up with score, count, etc. is to look 300+ feet behind home plate where count is kept with light bulbs. Can anyone share info on this?
Are there any plans to put up another (smaller) scoreboard so fans in left-field to right-field attending can know what's going on?
Thanks Tigers - nice start to 2009!
