Am I the only one that feels Lee should have been put back in the game, if for nothing else, to get his confidence back? Sure, he was rattled, but more damage was done by benching him. Sure we got the win, but only because of the defense. He got us here, it was his to lose. Who else feels the same?

No. He'll be fine.

Les tried to do that, but Lee promptly threw an unnecessary interception. Lee can get his confidence back during Western Kentucky, but as Jefferson's backup.

We won. I dont care if Miles strapped a helmet on a cheerleader and put her under center as long as we win.

love Lee, hope he bounces back but he was clearly rattled and JJ took care of business.

more damage could have been done to the tigers if he would have got back in and thrown pic number 3.

I'm tired of hearing this, honestly. And not because it's about Jarrett Lee, I'd feel the same if people said it about Jordan Jefferson.

He's 21/22, a fifth-year senior and been through it all. If he is still needing to be coddled and having his "confidence" built up, he's probably not equipped to be the QB for a major CFB program.

unfortunately, no, others feel that way.

fortunately, Jarrett's a lot tougher than you and ppl that think this give him credit for. he'll be fine.

This game was not the time for healing, Coach Miles did what had to be done to win.

I'm a big Lee fan, and for that reason I totally believe Coach Miles did the right thing for his confidence to leave JJ in the game. Two INTs were bad signs - his confidence level was already down and Bama seemed to have his number. A third INT may have ended JL's season. Besides, I don't call leaving JJ in the game the same as "benching" JL. CLM was going with the QB who had the advantage versus Bama. JJ did and JL didn't. No shame on him.

He'll start against WKU, and be fine. Neither QB threw the ball well against Bama. We needed Jefferson's mobility, something Lee can't offer at all, and it helped a ton.

JJ moved the ball with the speed option and scrambling ability.

Without JJ we are not in the hunt for the NC

Good thing he didn't get prosecuted!

It's football and it's not about one player.
It's about the team! I love JL and hoped he'd be the hero at the end of game Sat. What a great continuing story for him, right?

Well, the story is just beginning. JL may still get his chance. Lot's of football to play and we'll need him, especially against AR-Kansas or in the SEC Championship. That said, I'm sure JL supported JJ all the way!

That is what this team does and why they are #1 in the country. Geez wake up Tiger fans

You mean like Jefferson has been coddled for the past two years?
