Does that include touchdowns to the other team?

Lee has thrown for 13 TD.

This is how that compares to other freshmen QBs in the NCAA:

REDSHIRT FRESHMEN

20 TDs -- Kellen Moore, Boise State

17 TDs -- Austin Davis, Southern Miss

12 TDs -- Ryan Lindley, San Diego State

12 TDs -- Mark Cann, Marshall

10 TDs -- Russell Wilson, NC State

9 TDs -- Steven Threet, Michigan

TRUE FRESHMEN

23 TDs -- Bo Levi Mitchell, SMU

12 TDs -- Robert Griffin, Baylor

------------

Now compare how all the above did when it comes to interceptions:

REDSHIRT FRESHMEN

Russell Wilson, NC State
1 in 168 (1 in 168 attempts)

Austin Davis, Southern Miss
1 in 52.0 (7 in 364 attempts)

Ryan Lindley, San Diego State
1 in 48.1 (7 in 337 attempts)

Kellen Moore, Boise State
1 in 44.6 (6 in 268 attempts)

Steven Threet, Michigan
1 in 32.2 (6 in 193 attempts)

Mark Cann, Marshall
1 in 26.6 (10 in 266 attempts)

TRUE FRESHMEN

Robert Griffin, Baylor
1 in 114.5 (2 in 229 attempts)

Bo Levi Mitchell, SMU
1 in 17.7 (19 in 337 attempts)

Lee, with 14 interceptions in 223 attempts (1 in 15.9) is doing worse than all of the above when it comes to throwing interceptions.

and all of those guys are facing the same competition

Lee is struggling, but not many of those guys would warrant a scholly to LSU....

And all of those guys aren't four-star QBs like Lee, either. Less talented QBs playing less talented competition compared to more talented QBs playing more talented competition... it all evens out.

bc Lee proclaimed hisself to be a 4- star qb??????

was it a birth rite that he must carry with him always?

and every player ever rated 4-star by some old white guy to make $$$$$$ has been dead on!

Lee is struggling, stop throwing him undr the bus, the kid is man enough to admit his mistakes, not blame wr;s or coaches and faces media after everygame!

Your throwing him to the wolves, bc he is a suppossed 4 star and he starts..... he didnt control ethier one of those labels.....

Don't worry, the future looks good at QB for LSU. Jefferson is a four star. We also have two more QBs on the way -- Shepard, who is a 5 star and Chris Garrett, a 3 star that is ranked the 16th-best pro-style QB in the USA by rivals.

and a side note, Marcus Randall wasnt a 4- star, and JR woulda been a 10 star if the y had that level, and yet as a rs freshmen he couldnt beat out Randall, and yet look how he turned out?

the beloved RP was a 5 star and yet in a 1-aa game this year he threw 5 ints? and 5 star vs lesser competition threw 5 ints.......

I like Lee, but he is def Struggling, def want to see JJ get some REAL snaps, but Lee is still needed and will be important to us in the FUTURE as well as now.......cut the kid some slack

JR was a 4 star, but yes, he was part of the Rivals 100 (#79 best overall recruit in the nation) LINK

and you yourself said Lee waqs a 4 star....... so why does future look bright? 4 stars dont always pan out right?

and obv all cant pan out b/c if Lee is a bust aS A R/S FRESH THEN WHICHEVER OF THESE 3 DONT SEE FIELD IN 2 YEARS SHOULD ALSO BE A BUST?

Relax, if you want a white QB, then you will be happy to know that Chris Garrett is white.

Brett Favre a future Hall of Famer:
Has played in 267 games
Thrown 300 Int's
Fumbled 155 times and lost 66
Thrown 460 TD's
Worse year was 29 Int's almost 2 per game
Favre is averaging 1 Int per game so 16 for a regular season.
This year has thrown 12 Int's in 10 games
No record on Pix 6's but I saw him throw 1 this year so far
Even Hall of Famers are not perfect!

Yes, and Stafford threw a bunch of INTs as a freshman (also threw 3 ints the other week in the big game against Florida) and Peyton Manning threw a bunch of INTs his rookie year in the NFL.

Just because a few great QBs have throw a bunch of INTs doesn't mean that throwing a bunch of INTs makes you a great QB.

At least we didn't get stuck with Robert Lane........

GUYS, you win some, you lose some. LSU will have a good QB next year, and this season isn't over yet. Lee can pick himself up, and if he doesn't, JJ will have to take over. We have been through this before....just like every top ten team has.

DUDE WHITE QB?? you def dont comprehend very well......

hell im from NORTH Baton Rouge, went to a h/s that is 99% black

and was a big time defender of Marcus Randall and loved Herb Tyler

Lee being white aint got nothing to do with it.... I'm defending Lee b/c people have jumped off the deep end and threw kid under the bus!

hell even in the 80's my fav tigers were Eric Martin and Dalton Hillard not Risher, Wickersham, or Hodson.

if you gonna give me a WHITE QB then i want one named MATT.........
