Continuing to try and defend JJ is even more pathetic though. Just saying.

Eh, bashing him is probably worse right now but both are a bit silly. Both Qb's were who they were, some people just heavily overestimated them.

Both would have been better IMO having gone elsewhere and not having the situation (Crowton, mainly) to deal with for years. Good luck to both.

But I LOVE that Lee is going to be somewhere and JJ isn't. JJ was the most needlesssly preferentially-treated athlete in LSU history. I know I am not coming across the wire with shocking news, but JJ was not worth the effort and I got so sick of the whole "he brings another demention of the game" strawmanned the frick out of arguments. Even without the Shady's incident and the horrible games he had, the things he said about LSU in the end make me wish that he would never be considered a Tiger. I am grateful to him for only 2 games -- 2008 GA Tech (which we would have won with Brian Sparacino playing qb in a mini skirt) and of course, the first Bama game. Two games that you just had to say, "Wow. They are getting run on by HIM!?" All of the little soundbytes and quotes....frick him.

Lee will go down as having the most bittersweet career ever as a Tiger. It's impossible for me to imagine what it feels like to win 8 games as a starter and perform big and then you're basically forked after that and 1.5 poor quarters of football against a team that had 3 first round defensive picks i NFL draft. That and just the entire career -- dude is a man for sticking around. I wish JL the VERY best. Many of us would have checked out with all of that negative pub in our face.

JJ will end up doing something with or in football because he's too stupid to do anything else other than maybe coach a Special Education middle school's backs and receivers on part time/substitute bus driver-salary pay. I have said nice things about JJ before but since the end of this past season and how he handled himself and all of the bullshite that he didn't deserve to be a part of, that's over. If JJ is reading this (been told he does visit TD often), frick you, too JJ. ESPN totally makes themselves look even more irrelvant and downright absent of any and all journalistic integrity when they did that assanine "Carwash" (or whatever) interview with him and treated him as the flag carrying leader of the team or some special interest story on par with the linebacker from Boston College who had a tumor in his leg...pathetic how ESPN ran with his bullshite story of "success". Pathetic that ESPN gave us a "story" on a kid that they were trying to prove to be resilience's epitome and a qb who was a multi-threat. They could have just said "Here's a typical dumb college kid who fights at bars days before a humongous and crucial televised opening football game...oh and he's black, so he can multi-threat the shite outta some people..."

The fact is that LSU won all but one game because the team lacks any superstars because everyone who started was a superstar - everyone except JJ. TM7 was basically the one you had to treat like the superstar and rightfully so, but then no one else stood out -- except JJ. The fact is that Georgia stayed in the SEC c'ship with us for 2.5 quarters because the dumb arse was incapable of making anything happen. Both of his last two games were pathetic, much like his "your fault!" faces he would make at linemen and Spencer Ware and Ruben Randle. I gotta admit, though..how the hell does Tennessee let him run for 80 yards in '10? How did Arkansas let him have that second half that he had in '11? Did Georgia Tech play defense at all or just wanted to play make it, take it in their own backyard on New Year's Eve of 2008?

I could go on and on and Mr. Perrilloux, thanks for the last 3 years of LSU football and how everything -- good and bad -- played out because of your play money, hanging with D Odum at The Varsity, and your perception of Asian table waiters. We basically won 2 SEC c'ships because of you. That's about what we would have done also had you been on the team for 5 years, Ryan P., so everything evened out. Basically, Ryan introduced Tiger fans to their two worst girlfriend/relationships ever and that was Lee and Jefferson.

Jordan Jefferson had something on Les Miles, also. I will give him that, too. One of the dumbest and least talented starting qb's in college football history has a millionaire coach on the durrrrrr stick. If anyone thinks I am an a-hole for writing this, just remember JJ is a bigger one. I have NEVER seen a bigger choke job than he pulled on January in the dome.? If any NFL or CFL or Arena team wants to take a chance on Jordan Jefferson setting foot in their parking lot, they're as stupid as a middle class homewoner who voted FOR Cats Transpo proposal.

It's actually the exact opposite of a fact.

SPOT ON. HE DEF HAD AN AGENDA!

It was to play the qb he thought , gave LSU the best chance of winning. Look I wanted JLee to remain the starter and bring in JJ for obvious running downs, but it's not like Lee was lighting the world on fire. He had some horrible games last year too.

Quit the bullshite act. Your post history on this subject is full of this type of false information. You always start " I wanted Lee to remains starter" then go the opposite direction

Mett had a cut throwing hand and couldn't play and Lee was supposed to graduate in Dec and when he didn't it took a scholly away from a player(Gunner Kiel) and Miles was NEVER gonna play Lee again because of that.

This is exactly what I heard too. It became obvious when Miles was asked by a reporter if it was Lee's grades , that kept him on the sideline. Miles couldn't directly mention names or grade issues, so he said that sometimes players need to focus more on school work and not football
