It's just like in business, a good manager (I didn't say game clock) doesnt hold back promoting somebody that is worthy just because it makes the manager's life easier. All signs are the Miles does the right thing for the players in this regard. Getting kids to the NFL ultimately makes LSU an attractive option. A lack of kids going to NFL translates to lower quality talent in your program.

Then why is Ware leaving early? Ain't ready and won't be hgh draft.
Why is Tharold leaving? Ain't ready and won't be high in draft.
Why is Davenport transfering?

Something fishy

Ware's been passed on the depth chart and likely wont ever be a featured back. His stock's not getting higher.

Simon supposedly has 2 kids. I guess making at least league minimum helps with that.

And did you seriously just use Davenport leaving as a sign of something being fishy?

It is funny how anything and everything can be spun in a negative light by the fans who can't handle LSU not being number one every year. I don't understand how one can honestly criticize a program producing juniors that can go on to the NFL. I guarantee if LSU had won it all this year that would be a bragging rite, not a reason to cry in our jambalaya. It's sad really. Les Miles, in my unqualified opinion, most likely cares as much or more for these kids as people than he does as players. I believe he truly wants them to succeed in life, not only sports. And he most likely, contrary to what the know-it-all fans think, cares more about the unversity and its overall success than any of us armchair experts.

I agree with every point you guys made. But they seems to be a bigger turnover at LSU than most schools.

Certainly feels that way this year

But LSU has more talent than 97% of CFB schools

If this keeps up College Football that we all love will be a past time as the NFL will take them after high school and train them for one year and put them playing. Just Sayin.

It's amazing the level some folks go to trying to make their point valid

all we heard for years was Miles won't play young guys cause he's "stubborn"

starts playing young guys, who produce and grow, and when they are prepared to leave, Miles shouldn't let them

this fanbase is insane. We want LSU to recruit the best and when they do and make them into what they want to be (NFL ready) the fanbase bitches that they are leaving and it's Miles fault they are doing so......

some sad pitiful folks around here

It's not just that! Juniors at other schools are staying. But it appears that players want to get the hell out of the program asap

remember how everyone was saying how awesome it was that LSU was playing so many freshmen and sophomores the last 3 or so years? this is a product of that.

This year will probably break the record for underclassmen declaring for the draft. So yes, Juniors at other schools are leaving. it just so happens that LSU has a lot of NFL ready Juniors this year, most were known about before the season started.

Attrition this year will be the same as every other year.

Guys like Mingo and Sam are ready, no one can do more for them, Minter is borderline,
Can't blame them at all. If I knew for sur eI would at leas tbe a 2nd round pick, I may jump. However, Minter may be costing himself millions by not coming back and possibly being next years MT.

but the rest will be mid draft picks to not even getting selected and they want out, this goes back to Shep last year.
I don't get these guys. If someone projects you as a 4th rounder, that could just as easily mean undrafted free agent. too risky. Go back to school guys.

Meh. He can't really get any higher than he is right now, plus he graduated.

Ware and Ford are the only guys in danger of not getting drafted and there's really nothing they can do next year to improve their stock. Why not go to the league and start getting paid as soon as you can.

The maturity level of so many of our fans is epic! I'm not even gonna try to respond any more. It's just seems to go on and on and on. Some people just love to wallow in negatively!

Go start a business and try to be successful. Manage a couple of hundred people and try to produce a 20% increase in sales every year. Then come back and talk about Tiger Football.

You are seeing what you want to see. We have underclassmen leaving early because we have talented players who stand to gain a lot of money by leaving early. How much would making 700k a year for three years change your life? You can't blame anybody for making that decision.

I think it's not really the ones that left that we need to question, it's more the ones that even considered it.

Loston?
Boone?
