Looking for some advice on handling the traffic and parking situation so late. Trying to get to Frenchmen by 730.

Hmmm... most may have left by then, one option is to get off before the spillway and take airline the rest of the way but only do that if the bonnie carret is realllly bad bc it takes like an hour on airline rather than 20 min... also leaving br, if traffics bad, you can take nicholson alllll the way down past brightside and all that crap, stay on it for ab 20-30 min and itll put you on i10 right outside of BR by the outlet mall at the St. Gabriel exit/entrance... helps skip all the traffic by bluebonnet and whatnot

Good luck...I'd get off 610 at Elysian Fields and go in that way....

Appreciate the advice yall. Elysian fields looks like what we'll do. Praying 610 isn't too bad and parking works out. Thank God for radio. Work sucks!

yea def elysian fields, if you go all the way down to the end where n. peters crosses elysian by the river and then turn left down north peters you can usually find parking if you go a few blocks down along the river... good luck!

Or St. Bernard Ave. to Rampart; 610 will be OK; It's getting past the split usually backs up!

Forget 610 and the entire interstate. It will be backed up at Williams. Take Airline all the way.

Shite! Now have to go through mandeville to pick up keys to the condo. Thinking Causeway>Airline>Rampart>Frenchmen. Thoughts?

I-10 to Canal Blvd.

Traffic shouldn't be backed up to the I-610 I-10 split. Just take 610 to Canal and weave your way to Frenchmen.

This is as good as you're going to get.

Take Causeway to southshore. Go to Veterans and turn left. Go to Pontchartrain Blvd.
Turn left on Ponchartrain to Harrison - take right. Stay on Harrison and drive through City Park. Take right on Wisner. Go to Esplanade Ave and take left. Take Esplanade into FQ area. I live on Esplanade and take this route frequently to avoid traffic and get a nice drive through City Park.
