I can't predict preseason rankings, but I can predict that by week 10 there'll be 3-4 SEC teams in the top 5.

Anytime someone uses this as a criteria to rank a team I just ignore their rankings.

I love it. #16. Get the the good and pissed off. We always play better as the underdog.

They will move us and TCU into the top ten by opening day in order to build up that kickoff game. We win there and we're in the top 5-7 and no problems from there.

Oh and LOLouisville

Last time we started a season #16 was in 2003.

Louisville #4?
Notre Dame #10?
Texas #13?

Wow this is a joke.

Well we were overhyped last season.

Rather be the underdog

ND has to start in the top 10. They won't climb on their merit/schedule.

I don't agree with the LSU Ranking at 16. The SEC takes care of itself. We could start off at 116 and win out and be in the NC game.

Agreed. To me, if you are going to do that, you should give the nod and a higher ranking to the team with the harder schedule. If they lose, then drop them a little. But don't reward a team for having a soft schedule.

This guy's rankings are not a true ranking of the best teams. He's trying to predict how they will be at the end of the season.

That's 2 totally different things.

I hate starting the season highly ranked. We don't need a bigger target on our back than we already do.
