This is the last time we will see Les Miles' and Cam Cameron's system of offense against Alabama at LSU! That's something to be celebrated.

Last night was a reminder of just how outdated this offense is. Those of you blaming O for this loss are definitely idiots, ignorant, retarded or stupid...etc. How can you expect a coach to take a prehistoric prostyle offense based off of slow developing play action and move the ball against a defense like Bama's? It's not reality. No matter how much lipstick you put on the pig, you ain't winning no beauty contest. That offense causes way too much stress on offensive lines when facing defenses that can stop the run and possess elite edge rushers with speed.

I don't even support O being head coach currently, but it sure as hell wasn't his fault we lost! He had the Tigers as prepared as they possibly could be. No other coach in the entire world could have stepped in during the middle of the season and done better with the BS offensive system O inherited.

If you don't want O as head coach, that is perfectly fine. Don't bash a man doing a good job though. You damn well should be ashamed if you are bashing him, because nobody could have done better.

Just curious, how many years will it be before people stop blaming Miles for every loss?

Serious question.

Well, when his system is gone from our playbooks.

And this is exactly why LSU needs a total and full reset. No connection to the Miles era.

I think Herman is the dude.... He will be a complete break from Les. Not sure the AD has the nuggets to do it though.

bama won a few rings with that playbook , if hurts wouldn't have won the starting job , that would probably be our playbook as well ... sure we ran the zone read with Coker last year , he just barely kept it .

I am still waiting for the season to play out before I make a final decision on if I want Coach O as the full time head coach, but you are right this is the last time we will see this offense vs Bama. I watched Coach O's postgame press conference last night and rewatched it again this morning, and if Coach O is named the full time head coach, I don't think he will have any hesitation about cleaning house and bring in an entirely new offensive coaching staff and special teams coaching staff. Obviously, if LSU goes in another direction, that coach will bring in his own offensive system.

Grimes and "Great Recruiter but can't coach a lick Craig" need to be gone as soon as the season ends.

Ensminger flunked his tryout to be OC next season. The offensive play calling was spookily Miles like, but no OC, QB or RB would have much success with that god awful hot garbage of an Offensive Line.

Don't know if SE has what it takes to coach a Modern Offense as OC, but maybe he could stick as a QB coach. The new HC can decide that.

Considering they are still fighting the Civil War, I'd say hundreds of years.

Agreed. They weren't going to change much because...they just can't.
