I'll say this realizing it won't be popular.

The 2 loss 2006 team was better than the 2 loss 2007 team that won the title.

Both had good QBs but JR was a better college QB than Flynn.

We had 2 game managers at QB. There only job was to get the ball to the playmakers, not be one.

1st and 15, 90 seconds left, in field goal range, what is the only thing that should be in QB's mind? No sack and no turnover.

After the nice pivot from LBer, only choices are run or throw it away. PERIOD.

And make good decisions. A QB who makes the right decision and has an accurate arm is a playmaker.

Game managers with pretty underrated mobility though

And we had a more imaginative offense as well

My point is that we recruit QBs who aren't a fit for our system. Recruit dual threat QBs, but don't run spread.

And to make matters worse we still had a time out. That ball should have been in the bleachers

Right. What's the point of recruiting a dual threat QB if you rarely utilize their athleticism?
