draft position is irrelevant to making an all SEC team

It was all kinds of bullshite. How does last year's SEC 1st team SS not get preseason 1st team the next year? ERRONEOUS!

KRob is on the second team and he is the returning first team all conference shortstop. So, there ya go.

Eh, the 2 guys in front of him are just as good and have just as much a chance to go in the top 5 of the draft. No too worried. Give me post-season all SEC over preseason all SEC.

No shite?

The point is trying to make is that the coaches are making a projection just like MLB teams project players. Lange is a top 15 pick for a top 5 team. It's a valid point to use.

He has a chance of going top 5. I wouldn't call it a great chance.

He'll probably go somewhere between 10-25.

10-15, IMO. Splitting hairs. But I just can't see him falling below 15 sans injury.

Non-LSU related, but this year is probably the best chance we've had recently to see a HS RHP taken 1/1.

I also think he has better stuff than Faedo, but that is entering hot take territory.

Yes, but Wright gets the Vandy bump.

Faedo is legit, Houck is legit, Zach Warren at Tenn is legit. As usual, SEC Friday starters as a group is strong to quite strong.

He was also pretty damn pedestrian for a good chunk of last season. So i have zero issues with the selection.

Kramer's 2016 offensive stats are all better than Guthrie. Some were even significantly better. And he was 1st team last year.

They were picked 3rd in the East! (I know how loaded the top half of that division is, but I just wanted to reply with something that looks bad on their part).

Quite frankly, im glad they arent first team. Makes them prove that they are. Good for baseball. Good for LSU baseball.
