“According to PFF, Lance Heard is the highest graded true freshman tackle in the Power 5. He's yet to allow a sack in his first 132 snaps.”

I don’t think anyone is prepared for how good our OL will be next year, and it’s already so so good.

Kelly knows the recipe. He still has work to do on the other side of the line but he absolutely gets it!

Just needs to clean up the penalties. But that's still excusable for a true freshman being thrown into fire against a solid SEC defense.

Heard has been great but I’m pretty sure he gave up a sack at MSU. This comes off as hater-ish but it’s really more shade being thrown at PFF than Heard. PFF college is all over the place

So is Heard going to be RT next year with Jones sliding to guard?

He has a frame to build more muscle onto. He's going to be a great one.

If Dellinger comes back then we will lose 3 Olinemen high in the draft after next season. Who thought we’d ever see the day where LSU was churning out QB’s and Olinemen but begging for Dlinemen and DB’s?

Scouting reports were that Heard was raw and needed time to develop technique, but he had the physical ability to be elite. Looks like he's way ahead of schedule. Kudos to Davis as well. He's done great with the OL. Frazier has improved and Turner and Dellinger are getting consistently better.

Not particularly. Jefferson, Wingo, Perkins, even Maason now. If you mean in the secondary, then a big fat yes lol. But the trenches look great right now.

They had a protection check issue, but Heard gave up some pressures for sure. Right when he went in, an unblocked auburn defender came from that side and sacked JD

yes, because Jones is athletic enough to play multiple positions.

nah, he fed his guy off to Jones so he could pickup a blizer. Jones did not pick him up, rather continued to help two other OL block 2 guys.

Both guys somewhat unfamiliar with playing with one another. But sack was on Jones
