Probably will park at the stadium early and walk to Farves and back.

Make sure to walk through Stadium View next door to Favre's. It's always a good time. Vendors, sometimes a mechanical bull set up outside, all sorts of fun over there for big games.

I've been to many (at least at Lambeau I have). It's not that difficult to get food and beer.

For big games, I've finally reached a point in my life where I want to have fun beforehand and get solidly buzzed, but also not blacked out to a point where I barely remember the game. May be tough for this one, because when I'm excited I tend to constantly sip whatever is in my hand. And then there's shots, bongs, flip cup, what have you.

It's going to be tough to stay in the realm of a "solid buzz" and not get incredibly drunk before this one.

Thats not all that impressive. Around 12 oz. each.

That's what, 5-6 drinks at most if they're weak? Hell, I did that last Saturday.

I just dug up some alternative parking for game days about a block from Lambeau. At Green Bay Distillery.

Prices are from $30- $50 and the lot opens at 8 a.m. rather than 10:30. Proceeds go to a local school, I think.

May just be where my crew stakes out our spot.

Looks like this is where Cowboy Mouth will play on the Friday night before the game, too. Since it is a restaurant, it sounds like a good place to set up as a home base...

same here...my days of getting all blitzed and feeling like crap by the time game starts are over. We spend entirely too much effort and dollars going to these events to feel like crap while watching.

Found a shuttle from Appleton to Lambeau Field.... called "the Bar"... they take you from Appleton to GB to "the Bar" or $20.00 including beer for the ride. Drop off is 2 blocks to stadium.

Not to dissuade anyone in any way, but the distillery doesn't appear to have the best food reviews. It's a very large place though, so a decent drinking establishment.

Just booked our spot there. Thanks for the info. Looks like a good location.
