During one of the (many) appearances of Kim Mulkey on TV this season she noted that Kramer was still relatively new to baseball (played multiple sports in HS and wasn't on travel teams or something like that) and was still learning the game.

I think that's what we saw this year. He struggled in '15 but had a great season in '16. Never saw him succeeding Bregs like he did. I hope to see another leap of improvement in '17.

Mainieri gave him an opportunity and he ran with it. I'm glad he, Cole, and Greg are coming back.

Just want to point out that immediately after the '16 season ended he was in Cape league tearing it up. We were all kind of shocked at his batting numbers. Especially for someone who wasn't able to travel to Ohama a couple weeks prior.

No, he's at home recuperating from his injuries he sustained during the season.

Honestly if he has another season identical to '16 that will be awesome. If he can hit for a little more power that would improve his draft stock by a lot.

"Succeeding" doesn't mean "surpassing". The comment you were responding to did not imply that Robertson was as good, or better, than Bregman. No need for him to slow his role.

The improvement really came from another season of excellent coaching.

What we saw, according to the Coach Cannizaro and Kramer, is that Cannizaro showed him cutups of players his game is like and told him how he could be successful if he turned his game into that. Kramer for his part finally bought in and gave up trying to be a home run hitter. He then put in enormous work remaking his offense game.

Is it just me or does he seem kind of cocky, not saying that's bad but he just seems like he could be hard to like if I was an opposing player, or even teammates. mabe I am seeing it all wrong idk I didn't watch but about 10 games this year.. AND I heard something about his mom being a ncaa women's basketball coach? Hummmm, who knew?
