Bech wants to be a #1 or #2. Ain’t happening at LSU. Taylor is not a factor in the passing game and wasn’t overly impressive as a blocker. I felt Mashburn was a much better run blocker than him and was surprised he received the snaps he got this year.

There is a possibility that Kole Taylor was processed. Even if he wasn’t, the writing is on the wall for him. One of the incoming freshmen or someone from the portal would likely take a lot of his reps.

Kole Taylor was a serviceable player but it was always hilarious at the folks here who said he would be what Arik Gilbert should have been l.

Maybe for people that don’t follow LSU football.
Bech finished 8th on the team in receptions and Il but one of the ones in front of him are coming back.
Kole Taylor is simply not a SEC caliber TE.
Not Bech and Taylor would do really well at the G5 level.

Kole Taylor was never an SEC player and you could see that the minute you viewed his HS tape. I think he was likely processed as Brian Kelly told him the room is about to be beefed up and you prob won’t play
Bech by all accounts wanted to be more of a true WR then a TE or HBack. He should land on his feet and be heard from again

Especially considering all the TEs CBK is targeting in recruiting and the portal
There are 2 high school TEs on campus right now

Not surprising at all. Fully expected Bech and Kole Taylor to transfer. Bech and Kole Taylor knew they are way down in the depth chart and would not get playing time in 2023.

Why do people keep saying this about Taylor?

Go do your research on Mac Markway. Dude is a beast I tell you. He blocks like a pulling guard and can catch. And I believe they ha ve another one as well the next year. Couple those cats with Mason Taylor and I think Kole saw that. Kid has his moment(well his shoe did anyway) and needs to go somewhere where the TE room isn’t so crowded. Definitely has some talent so who knows.
