Kole Taylor AND Bech leaving is pretty shocking

As many 2 TE and TE/Slot formations we run, it isn't like they weren't going to be playing a shitload of football
Although Bech isn't a true TE at 215, he plays close to the line in the slot and serves as a blocker.
Just weird that both feel like they can't get on the field.

Beck probably could have carved out a role for himself if he kept his head down and worked to sharpen his strengths. But he clearly isn’t willing to do that

Why is it shocking? They want more playing time. Beach is 4th or 5th at best on wide receiver depth cart for next year.

Kole is meh
Bech is fine but honestly he’s behind Boutte, Nabors, Thomas and maybe even Lacy.
That’s before Sampson steps foot on campus.

Kole Taylor probably get equal amount of PT as a walkoun and Jack Bech is a receiver we can get 100 times neither one of these guys are must have players

Kole Taylor was likely processed. It's not that shocking. He never really developed a bunch when he came to campus. Not trying to shite on the guy but he was a big guy who just didn't play like it or see a ton of development. He really had no business being on the field taking more talented WR time away. When I'd see him come in the game it gave me fits why they were running TE sets with him driving down the field instead of the WRs.
They're targeting many TEs right now committed+next year and they're going after top TE targets in portal. Doesn't seem too surprising to me. Bech probably felt like he was going to keep getting passed up with the incoming freshman WR class. He was already passed up.

What the heck are you talking about? Tell me what makes you think that? Other than him transferring, which could mean anything, I have not seen that and have always heard he was a pretty dedicated player.
