He didn't look bad pre-sec play this year either.

He wasn’t very good. People have been complaining about him all season. No one complained about him before SEC play last season. There’s been a big difference.

To contrast the two seasons… Kling was batting .425 to start SEC play in 2023. He was batting .447 one game before SEC play. He was nowhere close to that in 2024.

I don't wanna just shite on guys but they just aren't good right now

To be fair, Jones last year falls into the category of “feast on crap competition but can’t put it together in league play.”

And JJ played him very, very little down the stretch.

And it’s early, but he has risen to the SEC competition quite a bit better this year.

I could be wrong, but I think Jay plays him for his defense on Holman days.

Jones is doing well. He has adjusted. Kling and Neal haven't.

There’s gotta be somebody on this team that can play a little center field and hit better than Kling.

Kling has an opportunity to make me eat my words. I would love nothing more than to be wrong

Against inferior talent. When league play rolled around, he went into the tank.

Kid has really let this team down. His lack of production has killed this team. It’s a damn shame.

Wait. You mean there are better players out there that don’t play the perfect game ranking game?? Who would have guessed?

Kling was in the .200s against that same inferior talent this season.. which is the point.
