Can Brown stick as an everyday CF in the SEC? I honestly don’t know. Same for Frey.

I don’t either, but I would like to see them get more reps. Same with Larson. Obviously Frey and Brown getting injured complicates things.

As for catcher, Milazzo won’t hit enough and Travinski won’t field well enough.

I don’t really agree with you here. They were good enough for the entire back half of last season.

If THAT lineup clicks, see you in Omaha.

I mean yeah that lineup would be great, but we all know that is not reasonable to have it work out like that. I mean hell, I think if at the beginning of last season you told everyone to make their ideal lineup, not many would have had Beloso as an everyday starter.

Kling has struck out 22 times this season. He ain't close to contributing.

This is true. And I’ve been as hard on Kling as anyone, if someone else can play 85% of his defense, then by all means play him.

Or if we fast forward 2 weeks and both are still K machines, then don’t move them off the bench.

If so, don't plan on seeing them in Hoover

I get what you're saying. However, there are options at C and in the OF.

We went through the post season with Alex and Hayden last year. Likewise, in the OF there are options sans Kling.

That is an astute comment, even though it’s not necessarily true. We need some others to get productive at the plate. I’d add Milam, Brown, Larson and Frey as others who could come on and make a difference. But we need at least a couple of those.

Don't need either one in line up if they can't hit.

Neal has no business being in RF ever

I personally like Milazzo starting at catcher with Travinski at DH and Neal on bench with Kling

This is my opinion also.

CJJ is trying to play the hot bat, when he can. That's why Frey is playing more and Kling less. He would love to see Kling get hot - he is capable, but at this point, the slump may be messing with his head and he's pressing too hard.

Last year, Jones was all world early, and Travinsky late. We were all about Christian Little and couldn't stand Riley Cooper.

We just need to be patient. None of these guys are who they will be at the end of the season.

Hell, just a week or so ago, people on this board were wanting to bench Bingham and Braswell. Give it another week and we'll be wanting to bench Milam and make Jake Brown our closer...

Hold up. Some here stated this last week and we were met with of course emotional resistance with no factual back up. Neal is 0-15 against SEC pitching this year. Batting under 100 including last year. Maybe it is time to question why some players are having such a difficult time getting a shot in the lineup and Neal is a regular.

Kling is lost cause. Has never shown any ability hit even decent pitching. Neal needs all the reps he can get. He is a key clog for this team. Frye and Brown need to get healthy and get reps to get where we want to go.

2 years in a row Kling has lost his starting job by March.

Well, the trajectory can only go upwards since they are 0 for 25 in SEC play.

Good news!
