I fully expect them to throttle JSU, but if perhaps they did flop, Les would absolutely be shown the door with the quickness.

This isnt a "what if". This is actually a hard outcome.

He's gone anyway. The torches are lit, the pitchforks are in hand. He will finish the season, then it's done.

I don't see it happening. Not necessarily because it shouldn't. The admins just seem completely out of touch and I don't believe they have the political will.

The real possibility is losing to Auburn and being a 2-2 football team. I truly believe Les will be shown the door and Cam demoted. O to interim head and Craig to OC

Bee Im not one of those guys who pulls against the Tigers. Never have and never will. But a close win or ugly win COULD have the same effect as a loss. My comment was in that category.
While I feel a loss would expedite the inevitable, Im not hoping for one.

and for the record, I like Les as a human being and rep for LSU....just not as a coach for the football team. Move him to AD and I'd be good with that.

Counting on a win over Mississippi State is pretty risky at this point. A loss to Auburn could put us at 1-3. Hell, even JSU is not a guaranteed win. We could be 0-4 after losing to Auburn.

I mean, I'm not optimistic about the season right now, but this might be stretching it a bit.

I had a mule, her name was Sal,
50 miles on the Erie canal.

She's a good ole worker, and a good ole pal.

if you guys got the horses and run between the tackles all game long then it will be close. I expect the other team to stack the box daring Les to spread the field.

If Les learned anything he has to spread the field. The JSU QB is very mobile and put a hurt on AU last year. They have SEC talent that has transferred to their team. Rock Thomas comes to mind.
