I'd be shocked if Brennan is the starting qb next year. Guice is more then likely to be leaving after next year too. Etling has shown he is capable and Kiffin will be a much better qb coach for him.

Just thinking out loud, it really doesn't matter if he's at Bama or LSU in December, either way he could still entertain HC offers. If he doesn't get the one he wants, at least he got a head start at LSU.
