1. Play much better against the read option than we have to date. Hopefully we study the KState film and are able to execute what they did.
2. Run early from spread formation and sustain drives.
3. Execute on offense and defense.
4. Win turnover battle

I think LF needs to get 20+ carries. If he does, then it probably means we are moving the chains.

Wisconsin ran right through our stacked box Not to mention that against a Malzahn offense with the speed to the perimeter...they would score 100 if we crowded everyone in 'the box' We act as if the only way to run the football is how we do it.
Unreal. I know you are a pathetic poster from reading your posts on here, but 100 points huh. You are right up there with Dukke V, CPL325, and a few others for knee-jerk reactions.
Also, once LSU switched to man on Wisconsin, and sold out for the run....they stopped them cold, so saying Wisconsin ran right through our stacked box is completely false.

This is a bad matchup defensively for the Tigers,
I disagree with this. If they had a qb that could pass, then yes, it would be. Historically, LSU has done VERY well against a team like this, and especially when the threat of pass is not great. We go man on the WR's and sell out to stop the run...whether it's run blitz, or whatever scheme chavis will come up with. I have faith he will come up with a good scheme here. There are ways of stopping the run without stacking the box, when you have the luxury of going man on the wr's and freeing up a body or two.
If you think this is a bad matchup, what do you consider a power running game against this DL? I think this is the best matchup for LSU.

This could be/would be one of the biggest wins in the Miles tenure since landing in BR.
It's an important win, no doubt, simply because LSU started off 0-1, and is a significant underdog on the road. But, Auburn could very well lose 2-4 games this year. I am not yet sold on Auburn, and if this would be a great win. Time will tell.

I personally think our three wide formation is our best! It is not a spread formation, yet still has three receivers and a TE to get into routes and threaten the secondary multiple ways. It spreads the defense out more, which in my opinion has allowed better running lanes for the backs to run. I also think putting our mobile quarterbacks in shotgun with a RB back there with them has allowed us to do more there, read option, QB rollout, motion slot or RB and jet sweep, and several other options. i think we can achieve very good balance with the run AND pass out of this set. I think it also allows us to get some of our best personnel on the field all at once.
I would like to see us run the majority of our plays out of this formation!

If i had to put money on it, the team that scores the most points will win this one

Hunter and Rasco have to be huge for LSU to take this one

Good thing I didn't say that.
So you think Wisconsin and Auburn match up the same in scheme and personnel. Neat.

Nope, to be proficient in run stopping you must stack the box. It is said here 1000 times a day.
