Key's leave of absence question..

If this is a stupid question, I apologize. Does Arden Key's (quite lengthy) leave of absence/surgery effect his declaring for draft after this season? Even though, in the grand scheme of things, he may not miss any playing time. Just a thought.

It's not academic because he was able to leave and come back in good standing
Rumor it was drug test related which is probably accurate but we'll never know because LSU can't disclose that, it may come out after he leaves when NFL starts asking.
He is coming out but you know the NFL will get that info and it may drop him a little in draft but someone probably takes him in first round and if he passes all drug tests he should be fine.

I definitely think Key will play this season and he will play hard when he does, but the decision of when to play will be made with the NFL draft as priority #1 (not that I blame him). I think the timing of the shoulder surgery caught some at LSU off-guard
