Kevin Mawae isn't going to fix the problems. Not saying we shouldn't hire him. But no way does he solve any major problems.

And it's time Matt Flynn give it up to become our OC in two years. I'm sure after time Jimbo, McCarthy, and Peyton he has a deep understanding of attacking defense.

I'll probably get ripped on here, but I don't care. People like Mawae not him, but a LSU alum with coaching experience should be considered for HC to get LSU going with that NC aspiration every season with the talent they have there every season. I don't know who, but they would know what to do with that great LSU talent there. Mawae would make a excellent OLine candidate, but you can bring in other ex LSU alum or local talent that knows the pain of losing to a Bama and would know what to do to get them going and kicking a Alabama's arse every season to stop this nonsense. Miles' is a great guy with family values and all. A players coach, but it will always be the same every season as long as he's there. A local guy like a Coach O could take over as HC and hire Mawae as OLine coach, a Booger McFarland as DLine coach and some other past LSU offensive players at some positions that would know what the people want. Hire a OC that will finally unleash that talent and start kickin these people's asses on a regular basis to wipe that arrogant smirk off their faces. Schools like TTech's aren't afraid to hire their young alum as a HC.

Because Matt Flynn and a hall of fame NFL linemen are the same thing.

eta: Peyton Manning will be a coach somewhere almost immediately after his playing days. Watch.
