Thanks buddy. I'm gonna buy you a beer one day. That is, if your videos don't get me fired.

The team went to the sideline and Faulk went to the eye of the Tiger.

The eye of the tiger wasn't painted on the field.

Faulk was amazing but it was bad that LSU was even in that position against Houston. A dinardo trait--inconsistency.

I was 24 years old riding around town drinking beer and listening to 870 AM thinking wtf is going on. Then Faulk had some great moments and the rest is history. Great memory for me!

I didn't say that. I was just responding to revisionism. No one can credibly claim that Dinardo didn't save LSU football. He flat out did. He couldn't sustain it, but like a good trauma surgeon, he came in, stopped the bleeding, got the patient stable and then turned him over to others for long-term care. My hat is still off to him.

Remember when we needed a literal miracle to beat a Kentucky team that we had no business being in a close game with?

Good times...

He had quite a bit of all-purpose yards as well - particularly the punt returns! We were camping in tent under the Texas stars at Lake Somerville State Park listening to the game. Amazing comeback in 4th qtr by LSU. Probably top 3 of all-time comebacks along w Troy and probably another.....

That game brings back bad memories for me. One of my friends and big time LB Mike Calais went down with an ACL injury during that game. He was an NFL caliber LB but never was the same after tearing up his knee.

Houston had a little known running back on their team named Antowain Smith...went on to play in the NFL for the Bills and Pats for years.
