Kenny Hilliard and Alfred Blue

Does anyone else think these two could end up being good LBers? Kenny looks like one right now and he is already holding his own in Big Cats against guys who are already LBers, and Blue looks like he could put on another 15 pounds and still be fast.
If one were to move, which one would you guys want at LBer?
(Not saying either one will ever play LBer, nor do I necessarily think they should)

I see Hilliard as a FB as well unless he sheds some pounds

I like this idea as much as I liked Chad Jones to linebacker and Trindon Holliday to defensive end.

How many RBs has Miles ever moved to LB'er?

Why is it that the majority of posters on the rant can't wrap their minds around a hypothetical question?

^ what he said.
Hypothetical question. But your urge to be a message board policeman holds you back from realizing that

Not sure about Miles, but Chavis does have a history of making running backs into linebackers at Tenn. Leonard Lewis was a running back in high school. Kevin Burnett and Eric Westmoreland were running backs and safteys in high school. Al Wilson and Jerod Mayo played running back and linebacker in high school.

Nah, Hilliard is too good to take the ball out his hands. He may be a pure power back but if anything, he gets moved to FB before LB. I wouldn't doubt LSU uses him as a hybrid RB/FB and give him some quick draws at FB and underneath passes. Some say Hilliard has surprisingly soft hands like Ware. Putting them in the same backfield with one lining up might be a good thing in the future. Just as we used Ridley at times and Scott.
Hilliard will be a pure north/south runner. That won't be the reason we move him. Ridley was basically the same way, only much smaller. Most of the time he'd see holes to the outside and get tackled because he just didn't have the speed/lateral movement.
It could be a possibility though, considering how loaded we are back there. I would think Miles would want to groom Hilliard to take the power back role in the future though. Seems like a prototypical Miles back who just steamrolls everyone. Hilliard played on a shitty Patterson team at times and would still carry 6 people on his back for 10 yard runs.

Seeing as the we're not sure how good Copeland will be, Hilliard could be moved to FB. But there's like a 98% chance he remains at HB.

He looks like he could be a legit 6'2" or 6'3" in cleats and over 225 pounds. If hes fast and Magee is that much better than him at RB I could possibly see him getting at least a look at LB if it doesnt work out.
But like its been said hes a true freshmen and was a stud RB in HS and theres no reason to believe he wont be one in college.
