Says it's kind of in flux, they'll be trying different combos for first 2.5 weeks. Frazier will practice at RG or RT, didn't mention the left side at all so I assume that Campbell and Shorts are starters.. A. Bradford has good/quick feet for his size. Bradford & Frazier(said Frazier has good length for OT)swapping at RG&RT. Dellinger will practice at RG and C but not OT...Speaking of Freshman he mentioned Harold Perkins as someone who looked 'different and had a definite 'suddeness', you could tell Perkins athleticism definitely stood out. Said Bordelon caught his eye as 'a big strapping guy that really moved well' and mentioned E. Jones saying 'his size, strength and movement' stood out to him. Bordelon is now listed at 6'6 at 290-295. Bordelon seems more than a career depth guy

***EDIT BK says they want to lock down OT and C first then move to G then identifying 'swing guys' that could could play OG&OT, or OC&OG
Bradford is also an option at RT. He and Frazier going back and forth from RT to RG
Martinez and West getting work at C
Dellinger at C and RG
Bordelon at LT
Emery Jones at RG
X. Hill back up LG
Kimo was backing up RT
Dumervil now #2 LT
Also good things said about how Fitz West looks early
Seems like Kelly and Davis really hit on their first O line Class together...Shorts, Frazier and Campbell as immediate starters, West and Jones seem very near future starters and Bordelon is at least a good depth piece at LT for now, possibly bigger role in future

I have a hard time trusting Charles Turner at center weighing only 285 going against some of the high end nose tackles or 1 techniques he’ll see in this league. Dellinger or Martinez make more sense to anchor the OL. Cam Wire should still be in the mix to be at RT to compete with Frazier and Bradford.

Some of the better centers in the NFL weigh less than 300. You need quickness and a more cerebral player rather than a guy that's over 300 lbs.

Kardell got here and seemed to have checked out after his injury.

Sucks but seems he doesn’t have that extra gear of drive like the athletes who want to move to the next level

Somehow I find this a continuing disappointment. He looked good, sounded tough and appeared to dominate at times. What went wrong?

We need guys like that in the OL group. Offensive linemen violently collide with defensive players on literally every play. That can take a real physical toll on even the most well conditioned players. Without OL depth, defenses will eventually expose weaknesses in protection. So, all that said, Bordelon is an integral part of this new crop of freshmen OL--regardless of whether he eventually cracks the starting lineup or not.

As a bonus, his little brother is a rising sophomore (already 6'4 260) at Newman and already has offers from LSU, Bama, and Georgia. It goes to show that maintaining familial connections can really pay off down the road (see the Jeffersons).

We’ve also seen fans complain about having centers that are too big and should be a tackle. Center is a unique position. You can get away with being a little undersized if you have the knowledge and ability to call out a defense all while prepping to snap a ball.

I’ve never seen a lineman pushed on his backside as much as him.. it was literally every other play and not just against top end SEC teams.

The best college center that’s ever played the game was 6’1 and 288 lbs….Dave Rimington

Dave Rimington played in the 70’s when players were smaller across the board. Yes, I understand they are usually the smallest member of the OL and need to be cerebral. However, I want my center to be able to hold up against big, physical DT’s and not get pushed into my QB’s lap. The first time that happens, this board will be going nuts about Turner being too light.
