Struggled shooting in some games this season but he hit some huge shots including the late 3 to go get the lead. Guy plays 110% every play and is going to be a big part of this team the next 2 seasons. Huge win for the resume.

I like his energy. If his offense begins the turnaround, he may become one of the best players on the team. I really like how he plays.

I missed most of the game. How many times did they mention his dad?

He has confidence and does a lot of different things.

He is streaky but we need a 2 with some swagger

Had a few that bounced off his feet. He's solid, but has things get needs to clean up.

The announcers were pretty darn good tonight. First time he touched the ball they talked about his form right as he shot it. Never heard them mention his dad. They came prepared and weren't just lazy about it.

I don't want to come off as negative or a hater, the dude has skills and is obviously better than I'll ever be.

But right now he's a liability, he turns it over a ton and shoots 90% of the time he touches it even when he is open. His shot is real flat which means he's a very streaky shooter, but even when he's off he shoots a lot of low percentage I'll advised shots

I dont see this at all...sure he has an awkward shot and hasnt been shooting well but thats basketball. Youre gonna go through hot and cold periods.

But I dont see him as a liability at all cause he does so many other things. He rebounds very well for a guard, brings lots of energy, plays good D and deflects a lot of balls.

I dont see him taking many ill advised shots either. He actually passes up shots sometimes that he maybe should take....ill admit I thought he would score more based on how ppl talked about him but eventually that may come. But LSU is definitely a much better team with him on the floor than not.

Hornsby dribbles like the guy in a pickup game who enjoys dribbling a lot, but doesn't really have any handles.

Obviously Hornsby is more than capable but it always cracks me up seeing him bring the ball up the court

The only thing that annoyed me is they kept saying that LSU was "playing West Virginia basketball"...like they had a patent on pressing and playing fast. Well...we play that way too. Maybe WV was playing LSU basketball all night...

Several new faces this season. It takes a while to get a team to mesh. To develop roles, etc. A good basketball team will improve as the season goes along. So far, I like what little I've seen.

This is what a good team with new faces looks like. Peak in Feb/Mar.

I hope I haven't jinxed JJ.

Their observations were good for the most part, but they mixed up a lot of player's names and didn't have all their background info solid beforehand.
