Great read! Thanks for posting. Really looking forward to seeing this club take the Feilds this year.
Some of you better get ready for a few long games, I expect Jay is going to use tons of pitchers the first two months of the year.

Back in the day professional mourners were hired to wail at funerals. We have - seemingly a few down votes no matter the thread - and assume Chicken has on staff professional down voters

Ignore them. Some people get off on seeing zero dislike posts and feel the need to downvote for no good reason.

Keep in mind, there are fans from other teams that lurk and downvote.

Hurd spoke highly of him last press conference
I saw him in high school before injury and he was dominant even as an underclassmen and Jay said he would have been tough to get on campus had he not gotten hurt

I don't understand why anybody cares whether they receive a "like" or "dislike" vote. For that matter, I don't understand what compels anyone to vote one way or the other, either.

It validates their opinion and gives them positive feedback. Some people will simply say thing solely for getting likes even if they do like or agree with the opinion they put out.

Social media has heightened this need for validation. Now get off my lawn.
