Well you are already convinced that Johnny Football will go undefeated.

In fact, they also need to put him on Defense. Then A&M will beat the likes of of the Patriots.

Chuck Norris has nothing on Johnny Football. In fact Chuck wears Johnny Football pajamas.

He killed La Tech. He threw for 395 and ran for 181. I think he had six TDs combined. La Tech's offense surprisingly went toe to toe with a&m's D. It was their one really strange game this year.

Given the competition, this is probably the best team in Aggie history. If they wouldn't have had to start off with Florida due to their 1st game getting cancelled because of a storm, they probably would have been in the NC (and probably would have won it too). If only they would have held off going to the SEC for one year they would have cruised to an undefeated season in the Big 12.

I keep reminding all of the A & M folks around me about another one year phenom who petered out...Taylor Martinez. They swear Manzell is the next coming of Jesus. It will be interesting to watch next year.

Martinez has serious wheels, but always seems to throw bad picks and messes up in the most crucial situations.

Every year is different for sure and nothing is guaranteed. But Manzell probably had the about the best bowl performance that I've ever seen with the exception of Vince Young against USC in the title game a few years back. OU worked for a month on a game plan specifically designed to stop Manzell and he passes for 287 and runs for 229 with a 13.5 ypc average and 4 total TDs (should've been 5 TDs). That's incredible.

Those are some of the guys that had a great game or season and then fizzled out.

Not saying Johnny Football is like Maurice or even Collins, he could very well be the best player in college history.

But lets wait until he has played more than one year before we start freaking out about having to stop "Johnny Football". He snuck up on everybody this year, next year will be different. Let's see how he handles it.

Remember w/ his running style, he is one good hit from being out for the year. Rest assure when he is in the open field, he will gets some extra chip shots.

so you are saying maziel will add a new phase of his game for other to contend with. kicking??

Manziel is definitely ahead of Cecil Collins at this point of his career. Manziel got his first arrest out of the way prior to taking his first snap.

Who knows what Johnny Felon can achieve in a few more years????

Much better...Robinson couldn't pass. He just tossed long passes and hoped his team would grab it (which resulted in tons of interceptions).

Robinson was an awesome runner though.

Johnny Felon?

I would hardly call what happened ANYTHING close to what the others did. He was trying to be peacemaker first. Also, what 19 year old college dude doesn't have a fake ID these days?

"Police reports state that Manziel was with a friend who directed a racial slur at a man on the street. The man then approached the two of them trying to get at the friend, but Manziel placed himself between the two men saying his friend didn't mean it and he was going to take him home. The man continued pushing against Manziel to reach the other, and eventually Manziel pushed back. At this point, the man swung at Manziel who then began fighting back. Shortly afterward, the bicycle patrol officers arrived. Manziel, who at the time was 19, presented a fake Louisiana driver’s license to police officers showing himself to be 21."
