This movie made me realize how blessed I am to be a part of the fanbase of the Fighting Tigers of Louisiana State!! Firstly, I never got a chance to attend LSU due to not being accepted to LSU so I had to opt on ole miss due to being accepted there! I grew up in Morgan City and moved to where ever my dad's job took me but no matter where that was, I remained faithful to my Louisiana roots!! My mother, who is no longer with us, was an Ole Miss fan and my dad was to busy hunting to care about football! All of my great memories growing up in the different states revolved around LSU!! Warren Morris in Omaha and beating Florida at home in 97 are just a couple examples!! LSU means so much to me! Where we were to where we are!! I will always say Victory For LSU!!!!

I do wish the DVD of Ole War Skule was captioned or subtitled so the deaf and HoH fans such as myself can enjoy it.

I bet they loved you there

And this is a very refreshing post, thank you for that. I loved Ole War Skule as well. Had me tear up at one point and I was half chub the whole time. Glad you enjoyed it!

Ya I had my rounds with people at Ole Miss! To me the biggest misconception of LSU is we are the worste fans! Being the drunkest loudest and proudest does not mean your the worste fans!! As I stated in my o.p. my mother was an ole miss fan and she and I had our rounds too, with the biggest round being the 03 game for the West! She was so upset she wouldn't talk to me for a couple days!

"worste " combined with every sentence ended with an exclamation point= I call b/s on this being a college student at all.

When you live in other southern states besides Louisiana, LSU is known as l s who, so my reply was always Louisiana State b!tc#! The home of the Fighting Tigers!

Windmill, I posted this after watching a show that had me psyched and super pumped, therefore the exclamation point was used to show my excitement. On my spelling, I had quite a bit to drink last night and was not doing spell check! On you being a dick, well only you hold that answer.

It drives me crazy when someone gets on a message board to talk about how much they love LSU, to have some prick judge them on spelling and punctuation. It's a freaking message board not a thesis. Get over your self and support someone that actually has something decent to say. Geaux

Illiterate and dumb? We should meet sometime for you to eat or something. I'm glad to know that I will be graded on this message board! I will treat it as a term paper from here out. Thank you.

As someone who wasn't fortunate enough to attend LSU, but still bleeds purple and gold and takes great pride in the state of Louisiana, I know how you feel. That DVD made me realize not only how important LSU is to me, but how it has created so many memorable experiences that I will never forget.
