Les splits the next two games. Wins bowl game. Not fired but underlying message is "you got one more year".
Replaced Cam Cameron. Harris gets another year of work. LF7 gets even better. Everybody gets a little better.
We have 11 win season next year and make SEC CHAMPIONSHIP game.
Lose in first round of playoffs.
Everyone starts FIRE MILES threads again.

You say 11 wins-I assume you mean the loss is to bama? You know we have to go play Arkansas the next week. We lose to bama, you can bet your arse we'll lose to Arky too.

I think the reason the heat is on now is the fear next season IS a good year. Then you can't cut loose. See why John Brady was fired mid season the year before a SEC champ run. They had to do it before he saved his job again.
Bama is going to lose 18 seniors and 4-5 JR's. LSU will beat Bama. So if there is a chance to get a refresh at HC it's now

I like Les but I think he needs to win both of these next two games. Look at the two scenarios:
1- Lose to Ole Miss. That would be 3 in a row. Apparently we haven't done that since DiNardo. I think the pressure would be really on and I'm not sure a win against the hot mess that is A&M could remedy his future.
2- Win to Ole Miss. This one is closer. A win against Ole Miss would help things. But to follow up with a loss to this particular A&M team could well reverse any boost he gets. I think we'd have to pull and defeat a pretty good bowl opponent and I'm not sure who we'd get and what bowl we'd get with a loss to A&M in the last game of the season.

We have in place what we need and appear to have that fixed. That doesn't change the past though and also the kids that didn't qualify or got kicked off on defense.
