And it won't mean a thing.

You better come to grips with this soon or you will be an uhappy fella next November.

Losing to us is a luxury for Bama now. If I were them, I'd take that week off and heal up for the stretch run and rematch in January next year. That would be the smart move.

I thoroughly enjoy other fan bases using the "eaux" ending in any way.

They believe they're cleverly insulting. In my opinion, they're actually helping to validate and spread LSU's and Louisiana's unique culture.

I saw a lot of Michigan fans wearing "Geaux Big Blue" shirts downtown and in the Quarter.....
not as many "Geaux Hokies."

CLM should order 100 of the tees and should make it mandatory work out shirt during summer. As a team you want to always remember that feeling.

Correction -

* We won the conference championship.
* Georgia finsihed second in the conference.
* Ala. finished second place in their DIVISION.
* They won the Saban-lobbied for on TV, ESPN-
approved, BCS-voter-biased, bald-faced lie to
Okie State, National Championship. They are officially the laughing-stock of national champions, the poster-boys of unabashed begging, the Sanduskies of bias.

Let me ask you this, if we had won that game would you think we were National Champions?

The game still would have been saban lobbied
it would still have been ESPN-approved,
still BCS-voter-biased, still a bald-faced lie to okie state

None of those things would have changed even a little bit.

This is insane. Losing to us was no luxury. Bama still had to rely on OKSt to blow it, Stanford to blow it. Losing is never a luxury.

Can you blame them though? They were entitled to begin with. Them winning their unprecedented mulligan just reinforced this belief for them.

I know, which is why I will continue to hate them in ways that are immeasurable. I would route for Terrorists before Bama.

Yes. Correct. But, it would also have induced much more of the 'Bama did not deserve a rematch' talk. The BCS would have been over-whelmingly second-guessed.
The thing is, I still don't think they deserved the rematch, simply because of all the media 'talk' that Okla State, should they accomplish all the necessary criteria, would have had a strong case for #2.
Well, not only did they do everything they were supposed to, and also had a much stronger SOS, as well as winning their conference, but it turned out that the voting was """"""""""NOT"""""""""" close like all the media implored us to believe would be.
Thanks to a handful of monumentally selfish coachs and BCS human poll voters - who voted Okla State NUMBER SIX, Alabama was in the game when they clearly should not have been.

BTW, why even """"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""PLAY"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""
conference championship games ??????????????????

They clearly have no phucking relevance or purpose at all !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Exactly. I'm completely fine with other schools slapping "eaux" in place of an "o" any day.

Yes, please, spread our creativeness and culture.

It is over and done with. It is just one of the 1536 NC's Bama has, so no big deal really

meh. If LSU had won there would've been something similar (and in fact after every game the Tigers have beaten the Tide over the past 10 or so years -- and that's been more times than not) there's been a "cute" shirt commemorrating the win.

No one is allowing the gumps to define how we feel, we are allowing the parameters of the game to. We won the conference championship. They won when it counted, the only game that mattered in the end. We lost. Plain and simple.

Actually LSU won when it mattered too. On 11/5 it was game of the century and LSU won and espn didn't like it. When you win the sec championship you shouldn't have to play a sec team, you already beat, in a bowl game

Let the gumps temporarily have their fun. You know we would have if we had won in January. One great thing about football is the slate is clean to begin every season, and LSU has a great incentive to do well every game this coming season.
Regarding recent history: Looking back to 2000 and forward, LSU won 9 times vs. 4 times for Alabama; and, with one stretch - 2003 through 2007 - of 5 straight won by LSU. Considering neither team will win 100%; we are doing just fine. We will all enjoy the Payback in Tiger stadium this November.
