a Sat Night Game in TS.

Unlike Nick who wasted no time by losing to UAB. Then followed it up in '01 with a dismal loss to OM. And then followed that up with an embarrassing lost to Bama in '02.

And Arkansas on a Friday night. IMO all of these "time/day of the week" statistics are ridiculous. A loss is a loss and a win is a win.

No it wasn't. It's the start time that matters in this, not when it ends.

How many big games has he played at night? There was NOT ONE big game last year

But Troy did give him a run for his money on that one

ETA: Blame CBS for not having our major games at night

LSU is 206-59-3 (.774) at night in Tiger Stadium and 20-23-3 (.467) during the day. Yeah, it doesn't matter.

Not at the end of the season when all is said and done and the NC game selections are made.

ETA: I'm not arguing that we aren't better at night. I'm saying that it makes no difference in our season's outcome whether we lose at night or lose during the day. And also, look at the quality of the teams for day/night games.

Also Les has only played FOUR ranked opponents at night, and only 3 SEC ranked opponents at night, FWIW

Boat, man you know that we play tougher competition during the day, and we play shite teams at night, I mean that is a known fact, we hardly ever get a quality opponent at night anymore

That's partly because we never play rent-a-win teams during the day.

We play tougher competition during the day because CBS picks up the best games. But CBS started that in 1996. LSU hasn't played 46 games at home on CBS.

There were games against weaker competition during the day before 1996.

LSU has also played like shite at home on CBS against a team that wasn't that good and they should have beaten.

Florida 2003 and Arkansas 2007 are a couple of examples.

Regardless of who we play, you CANNOT argue that Death Valley is louder, crazier, and twice as electric at night compared to the day. So how is the home field advantage no better than during the day?

Players always feed off of that. And you know LM, being the kinda coach he is, gets even more fired up for night games as well.

Ohh I thought we lost that 2007 Arkansas game b/c we had Matt Flynn as our qb guess it was b/c it wasn't at night, so free up Flynn for that loss

Maybe people should just tailgate 3 1/2 hours earlier so they can be equally drunk and loud and rotting, and crazy
