Saying you'll "believe it when you see it" is not being negative. If you think it is, you don't understand the idea to begin with.

I'm one that feels that way.....usually....but there is no denying this team has great potential.

Young men who have had another year in the weight room to develop more strength should be more physical. I don't know how anyone could disagree with that.

If the guy bench presses 100 pounds and then bench presses 125 pounds the next year, I don't know what more one has to see to note that the guy is stronger and can be more physical.

When one says I'll believe it when I see it in this case, they are basically saying they don't believe the weight room reports put out by LSU which point to a stronger team that can lead to a more physical team. I don't see how that can be interpreted any other way then being negative, but into our own.

Read about what dameyune craig thinks about lsu football. Then shut up.

"LSU is known to be a physical football team and, when I think about LSU football, I think about a physical football team,” Craig said a few weeks ago. “That can be done at the receiver position, and that’s been my main focus going into the spring.”

Lsu is known as a physical football team. Lsu has been a physical football team and lsu will be a physical football team this year. Period.

Yes on offense. We haven't been in at least 3 years on defense. But it's obvious you don't actually watch games or have some kind of problem. Mentally

You are mixing perception with reality. This is real world bubba.

Ad I said in my original post. This season will be different though with returning veterans and incoming played

Lol. Lsu is know as a physical football team on defense as well. You really don't know what you are talking about. I'm done. I don't argue with ignorance.

Great post beau, however it's sad that the retards here won't take it for what it's worth... We could go 15-0 and they'd still bitch about not throwing for 4500 yards or getting 30 turnovers...

We have the most informative message board for college sports here at our disposal and it's sad that it's been overrun with a vocal majority who hate most things about our football program... It's quite sad actually, not even Tulane fans hate their football team this much

Moffitt has a way of speaking that just gets your heart rate pumping a blood boiling. I was fortunate enough to be around him a little bit and he his voice is just naturally motivating.

Great guy too. All the players love him

Well....if we're being completely honest...without the p/g blinders on.....you have to consider the "Miles" factor. I dont think i need to explain that concept even to you.

The ones that show up when scheduled and work hard love him, the lazy asses hate him. He has been known to show up at apartments and not leave until you get in the car with him. He also wont lie when professional coaches ask him about work ethic and conditioning.

You don't believe that a college dline that returns everyone is more physical than the year before? Do you believe in gravity?

Do you believe in Miles' coaching abilities ?

You do know that miles does not coach the DLine, correct?

You do know les hired a guy who is widely considered a top DLine coach in the world, right?

I'm anti miles. But to say Dline won't improve because of him is stupid.

Are you kidding me? Lsu is known for its physical style of play and has been for a long time. That's how we play football. Our problem has been being one dimensional on offense. We have always been physical. I would be willing to bet on lsu being physical as frick again this year as well...and more so bc of experience and comfortability in our scheme.

That may have been the case up until 2012, and with the D Line still in 2013, but we have lacked physicality both up front and in general on defense for the last two years. We were playing young guys and undersized guys (see Lewis Neal playing DT in 2014) and had no depth. We got pushed around repeatedly in 2014 and by three opponents last year.

So, blow the comments off if you like, but a return to REAL physicality and depth on defense would be welcomed by those of us who actually pay attention to what happens on the field. Who cares if the team;s philosophy was to be physical if they couldn't actually EXECUTE on it.
