Too small to play in the SEC. Will be the next Russell Shepard. Will never take a snap at QB in an SEC game for LSU.
I just hope we have the best guy behind center. Are you familiar with Blake Sims? 3000+ yds in 2014. 5'11 218 lbs LINK
Scott 5'11 210. Most people have moved pass his size. Can he play for us? Time will tell. Looks like he's the 3rd QB after being here after just one summer. Let's wait and see.

Y'all need to back off DALSU. I'm guessing some of your are referring to him being wrong on the potential Fisher hire. For anyone saying flat out he was wrong, don't know about football, want attention etc, know little about that situation. I've seen the response "well he's not here and you said done deal". I didn't post about it at the time but he was not wrong about what he was told and I was told the exact same thing from someone who cannot get any closer to the situation unless he were Alleva or Alexander which it wasn't. Unfortunately politics fouled the deal so yes it technically wasn't a done deal but LSU thought it was. DA doesn't need me to defend him but the fact that he posted that means to me he knows more about the situation than trying to guess and get attention.

It's the pack mentality of people who post here.
The LM fanatics couldn't stand how this was going down last yr, so anybody saying anything other than sunshine pumping in regards to Miles job was demonized.
I have no idea if LSU would've been better off with fisher in and miles out, I do know this though, Les Miles needs to dominating this year.
Finishing middle of the pack in the sec west isn't going to work for him this year.

I'm not saying DALSU was wrong, just that he was, and is, full of shite. Every year a couple of guys get on here pretending to have sources. I don't know why; maybe they want to feel important. But they keep up with the rant scuttlebutt and regurgitate it as though they have it from a reliable source.
Every now and then they have to actually predict something. You can recognize these hucksters because they're always predicting something with close to 50-50 odds. And they're wrong half the time
But they best way to recognize them is by their constant attention whoring. They will use first person pronouns and brag about getting a prediction correct. So, the sunnydaze thread was a good example. DALSU sees someone else getting attention (note that sunnydaze doesn't make it all about himself) so he jumps in with a transparent attention deflecting posts. And he never says anything that isn't fairly common knowledge, except maybe one thing that is 50-50.

Why didn't Dural dress? Thought he was good to go.

Per presser, Miles said he had a mild hand injury and would be back by the next scrimmage.

Thanks Sunnydale. Ignore the idiots.

Don't think he played. The top 5 cbs are white, toliver, Jackson, Paris and smith

I'd expect Greedy to redshirt. They don't need him this year. He's got a long frame but thin. He's fast with long arms and good technique. Know him very well from Calvary. He's a good kid. Hope he sticks it out and waits his turn and doesn't get frustrated with little or no playing time early.

This scrimmage they were going over certain situations.
Thanks for the info. That's what I was wondering about the scrimmage. Position battles have largely been determined & the playbook has been learned. They're starting to get ready for the season. This scrimmage was used to teach various scenarios & situations the team will face during games. Probably also worked on substitutions.

Me, me, me! Hey guys, can we take a break and talk about DALSU for a bit?
Notice how someone else started a thread, and he jumps in because he's not the center of attention?
Maybe you guys should quit with the personal infighting and stick to the topic at hand.

People hating on DALSU, quit being a little babies and move on. Its football, its 18-22 year olds playing a game, it's a message board. Who cares if his sources said one thing and politics blew it up, crap happens. We're all men here so act like one. If you don't like a post or poster then ignore and move on. My sources were telling me the same thing as well btw.

Then ignore him. It will be agony.
It's not rocket science.

He's better than Hilliard, hill, Scott, Williams and whoever else Les has had. He's just behind a Heisman candidate
Been saying it for a while. The only reason he isn't a top 5 back right now, is because he's playing behind Fournette. I know this sounds like extreme homerism, but I literally believe he will show that he matches up, and maybe even succeeds, guys like Dalvin Cook and Nick Chubb.

Bc everyone is getting a hard on for madden tactics. These ideas can work every now and again but taking one blocker or receiver away to sub a guy who does the same thing as the other rb is redundant, no matter how good they are at rushing.
Yeah because NFL teams don't do that all the time
The fact is LSU relies waaaaaayyy too much on straight up blocking and not enough at all on misdirection and mismatches. We rarely try to out coach opponents with our offense and instead go for the straight ahead approach that only works if you are on a whole other level than the team you are facing.

So you want that Arkansas offense? That's not the offense you're getting. A well executed Air Coryell Pro offense has more potential than practicing the Arkansas spread option that Gus Malzahn made. Great defenses are going to require precision passes to set up the run. Practicing running horizontally isnt going to beat great defenses.
What is it with LSU fans and the all or nothing idea to everything? Not once did he say that's the type of offense he wants. Those are nice wrinkles to add to the deflated ballsack of a running style we have. Our running style is almost exclusively runs up the middle with zero misdirection.
Also, if you expect LSU to run a precision passing offense to perfection for more than once every four years at best, you're expecting WAY too much. This is college football where at LSU we get a precise passer once in a blue moon.

That's all I was saying...
