that last part about the ADs is what I was talking about. The SEC ADs have basically said, home team can dictate. Not true across the whole NCAA, but SEC has this arrangement.

Yup. Saban has said about changing uniform traditions, that who is he to change traditions that have been going on long before he came onto the scene.

it's just that, when you go to your first game as a kid, and see them come out in purple, your kinda "branded" with that memory if you catch my drift.

We should either go Vandy '96 on them -- gold jersey, white pants, yellow helmets OR go full blown 1997 Independence Bowl with white helmets, white pants and yellow jersey.
