Awesome game, so glad we came away with a victory. Thought the offense did well except for a couple of plays that really made the game closer than it should have been (both of Mett's picks).

I'm sure it has been discussed ad nauseum, but what the hell is going on with Reid? Is he just really mediocre and living off of a rep that was built around a timely interception? Just a rhetorical question really, not serious. He sure did look like shite yesterday as did Simon. He was toasted all day long.

Once again, LSU's crowd impresses by emptying out in the third quarter. I have pics to prove it if anyone is interested. The folks who did stay made it painful for the Rebs though. Good job Tiger fans who stayed.

We took some friends who had never been to TS before and what a great game for their first.

About to rewatch on the DVR.

It was my first game to attend in a while, and while the crowd leaving was disappointing, the remaining few cranked it up in the fourth quarter. I can barely speak right now.

The DBs were out of position all night. I don't know if it was because they were cheating up to defend the read option or not. I'll have to rewatch but it seemed to me likely reason that they got burned deep so many times.

The whole D kinda sleep walked through the first 3 quarters or so.

But what a great game.

they ran quite a few double moves and simon bit every time. Reid also took a few bad angles. He's usually much better than that. I had high hopes for Simon to be our next big corner. He has been a big disappointment so far, but I think Mills and Collins will be great players.

I agree.

I haven't rewatched the game yet so I was just kind of reasoning my way around the piss poor performance.

Seems to me like Reid looked better last year because of TM7 and Brandon Taylor. He's had a tough time trying to step up and be the playmaker of the defense. He's talented, but he clearly isn't as ready to make the jump to the NFL like we all thought he was

We have had too many great defensive backs for me to keep up with

Watching Ole Miss skate down the field in the last minute of the first half sure did remind me of two weeks ago.

Funny that TD made it 21-17.... ouch.

He looked bad saturday. Missed the tackle on Wallace on the long TD run, took a terrible angle on the slant that went for a TD, and was late getting over on the TD pass that came off the play where Mingo jumped offsides. He may end up as a Roman Harper type safety in the NFL.

For all the ones that left early, I bet they regret it. They may not admit it but that was a great game all the way to the wire.

I can understand people leaving in games against North Texas, Towson, Idaho, and hell, even Washington (I don't agree with it and I will never, ever leave a game early). But to leave when LSU is actually losing, or only up a couple points is just unforgivable.

I truly, honestly, look down on people who did that.

In Simon's defense, he did have an interception.

I still don't have any voice from yelling through the 4th quarter! Was glad so many people in our section stayed. It was my first time to sit in the NEZ, and it was a blast being that close to the band and student section!

If that is your real face, you should seriously reconsider looking down on anyone EVER AGAIN.

I've been lucky enough to have experienced LSU football by always having season tickets in the family and going to games since 1978. We've had seats in different spots all around the North End Zone that entire time, so the North End Zone is all I know. In 2005, I decided to go sit with some friends in the South End Zone and give my tickets away, and I gotta say...the section I was sitting in sucked compared to what I'm used to. It was a bunch of grouchy old people. I guess being that close to the student section keeps us young, even if we are old...
