...from the trip to BR this weekend. I ended up driving from N. Carolina through the night in order to make the trip since the game was bumped up and my flight was Sat morning. A big reason for going was for the LSU experience. Guess I'll have to book another trip. Hope everyone made it through the storm ok. Congrats on a dominating win. Good luck the rest of the season.

Be sure and come back to a 7P.M. kickoff. You won't be dissappointed.

I'm curious how long that took. I'm in Greensboro, too, but I've never made the drive back to Baton Rouge. I've always flown, but nowadays that seems to take all day too.

Sorry you went through all that effort and then didn't get to enjoy the real Tiger Stadium experience.

I wanted to thank all the great LSU fans I encountered this past weekend. Our large group had a good time. Went down to New Orleans for a night and spent all day / night eating and drinking on bourbon street. We ended up leaving NO and just came on up to Baton Rouge friday after our hotel advised us to. Spent friday night at Chimes which seemed to be a pretty popular spot. Arrived to near Tiger Stadium around 7:00am and went to the ASU tailgate as well as meet some tiger fans. Just wanted to say being near the top of the stadium there is not a bad seat in the house. One of the best stadiums to view a game in. Even after we got our butts kicked on the field tiger fans were still very nice and wished us best of luck on our travels and even offered up traffic advice for leaving town. Our flight was scheduled to leaving New Orleans sunday evening and we wanted no part of that so we needed up renting a car and driving all the way back to Charlotte, NC which took probably around 13-14 hours once you figure in all the stops and fill ups. Overall a wonderful experience in New Orleans and Baton Rouge. Wish we could have seen a night game + a better showing for the Mountaineers but I guess that just gives me another excuse to make a return trip. Best of luck to the LSU Tigers for the remainder of the season.

GO MOUNTAINEERS!!!

We left at 7:30pm Friday and hit bad traffic in NC that put us behind schedule. We heard the kick off as we were walking to the stadium. I would say the trip would take around 13 hours under good traffic with few stops.

I was at the game also....

Here's to hoping you got your first beating in Louisiana and have to return later in the year to get the next one.

Hotel kicked us out Saturday morning...Bus trip to BR took 2.5 hrs going the back way instead of interstate....

Rented a car at BR airport instead of returning to NO airport...Left at 3:00pm and got to Atlanta at 12:00.

BR to Charlotte straight is 12 hours.....

It is very dark at night MIssissippi and Alabama.... Tiger fans were very sedate... only got Tiger baited 1 time after the game...
