Shame he ended up in Buffalo and not somewhere that could have used him in the slot, he could have been Wes Welker before there was a Wes Welker

I agree with this......

Until George Clooney plays him in a movie, the answer is Michael Clayton

Probably the best pure receiver of the bunch. Had stick-em type hands.

Wendell was a cold man, the way he torched South Carolina in that Gator Bowl. He would have been an All-Pro if it had not have been for that damn Vet Stadium in Philly.

Frickin carpet turf on top of concrete.

Holy shite. I forgot that LSU had productive receivers. Reed and Clayton were insane.

He is the only Biletnikoff winner. Hard to argue with that. Not saying we haven't had, and still have, some great WR's.

Dwayne Bowe

Ranked fourth in school history in career receptions (154) and fifth career receiving yards (2,403)

Connected with QB JaMarcus Russell for 23 touchdown passes, making the duo the most prolific pass-catch scoring combo in school history.

Yeah, I'd have to say Reed was the best WR all time at LSU. His 2001 WR stats were off the charts, especially playing in a balanced offense.

Reed would still get open even if he was double covered. No one could stop him.

Josh Reed had incredible instincts for getting open. Everyone knew the ball was coming to him, and he still found a way slide around in the defense, and get open. Over and over and over. Amazing instincts!
No Tiger better, in my opinion.

What Carson did was great, but it was Rice. 77-0.

Hard to compare that with Reed vs Bama.

Martin really became a receiver in the NFL. He was more of a running back at LSU.

I would put Reed right along side of Wendell Davis.

I'm going to throw out Eddie Kennison because he deserves to be on the list. Not the best, but definitely top 5 or 10. Victim of being on bad LSU teams affecting his legacy I'm sure.

Odell Beckham III might be the best ever depending on how his career finishes and how long he stays.

No, not really. 85 rushing attempts for 357 yards, versus 152 catches for 2625 yards does not make one "more of a running back" - virtually all of that rushing was a a sophomore - he was a full-time receiver as junior and senior.
