Lets wait until Gray scores scores fifty in his first SEC TV game before we compare him to CJ.

Thank you nothing against Gray, but you can't compare what he did against a bunch of jv and community college teams. He is not close to Chris Jackson

Definitely should not have said he had an opinion in the way he did. As much as I think he is probably right in whatever he wants us to do (for sure nothing else is working), a player should never publicly dispute his coach. I fear if this keeps up he will ride the bench like Hickey from time to time.

That means we will be playing a shorter true freshman of limited ability much more than we would like in his place.

You are right, he is as quick as Jackson but the biggest difference between the two is that Jackson was a finisher. I have watched Gray go in the lane out of control and throw up ducks or throw it away. He has missed many of layups and hell the kid can't shoot free-throws, esp at crunch time!!

The 3 games I've seen I agree. Dude can drive anywhere he wants but hasn't been a strong finisher.

I was hoping Musselman would make a difference in the half court game. Hopefully he still will.

That was/is my hope is well. Unlike his mentor Dale, CJJ is a hands on coach. It remains to be seen how the coaching dynamic with CJJ and Musselman will work out but my feeling is that Musselman can contribute significantly, if allowed.

Musselman needs to be freed up to do some real coaching....JJ hasn't shown much in that regard. What did we bring Musselman in for if he isn't allowed to do that ? Leave the recruiting to JJ.

Gray has been a head case forever. He played with a police ankle brace in high school. I knew he would be a problem.

So this is why he has been Every where. He must wear out his welcome rather quickly.

I agree 81. 5 games in I'm looking for something besides recruiting to help me see THE PROGRAM is heading in the right direction.

True, recruiting is far and away the most important thing. But I want more than a Guy Lewis thing going on here.

I just want to see some progress and steady improvement and I'll be thrilled.
