First in team history. Johnny O'Bryant (on the same team) with a double-double.

quote:

Recording the first triple double in Northern Arizona Suns history, Josh Gray led the charge with 24 points, 13 rebounds and 11 assists in a 98-89 win over defending NBA D-League champion Sioux Falls on Sunday afternoon.

Gray, a 6-foot-1 guard out of LSU, was 10 of 19 from the field and 4 of 5 from the free-throw line, played a season-high 46 minutes after point guard Askia Booker was a late scratch from the starting lineup.

Good for him but it probably won't last. Way too inconsistent at LSU and that's all I got to judge him by other than this. I wish him luck but not a fan.

Said this the other day...

Everyone knows my lovefest for Josh Gray. I stuck up for him through thick and thin...I hope people can now see CJJ is and was the problem. Yes, it's only the D League, but there are many players who go from D-League to NBA. The fact he is getting a triple double in the D-League but could only play 10 minutes a game is hilarious.

And don't give me all the bullshite about his finishing and shooting...when able to play free flowing basketball with no restraints, the guy can put the ball in the hoop. He's averaging over 15 points a game.

Hating arse lol. Coaching ruined josh. He looked promising at Texas Tech, he killed it in Juco and he came to LSU and fell off.

Not hating. Just stating a fact. He hurt LSU more than he helped. Like I said before.... If he would have spent as much time in the gym practicing as he did in the tattoo shop, he would be a lot better player.

That's how I know you're a hater. I personally know Josh and he's always in the Gym at 2am shooting and in his spare time he trains kids, and coaches aau teams. I've never seen anyone work harder towards a goal. Don't comment on shite you don't know about.

First off Congrats to Josh. However, if you have seen some box scores from the Dleague you will recognize that those numbers aren't really anything special. Especially considering he played 46 minutes. There's no defense played in the d league.

Show you something? He's getting to play basketball and get paid for it. I promise he could have gone overseas and made even more money, but he's keeping the dream alive. Literally 3/4 of college players don't play after college. Because we've had numerous people wasted under CJJ doesn't mean it's his fault he didn't do better at LSU.
