Why did they wait to tell/ask the kid and his folks while he was moving in at LSU

Maybe they were hoping his intercession class would suffice?

I have no idea.

this proves that miles is truly a pos. when the rumors that lee failed a class flew around in december, miles stayed silent. kudos to lee. he is a genuine student-athlete and i'm proud to have graduated from the same university as him.

Miles wasn't being honest. Keil gave his verbal just a few weeks ago. There are many reasons the scholarship wasn't available.

Ok.

It's recruiting.

And taking the #27 OT over the #1 QB does not count as "can be controlled".

that lee was on track to graduate and miles didn't do anything to dispel the false rumors that he failed his classes. as if miles was secretly hoping he would or using those false rumors to justify giving him no playing time.

You are rationalizing so you can blame J. Lee for the kid going to Auburn. There are many reasons that scholarship wasn't available.

Maybe this is what Miles should have told the kid. We took a top ranked QB for your spot.

Wait, what? Who is hating on Lee. You need to calm down. People are discussing a situation.

Jarrett Lee completed all the required courses necessary for his degree prior to the bcs nc game and prior to the start of the spring semester. He is not enrolled in spring classes. Therefore, he is a college graduate.

He was never ineligible. Move on people.

But he didn't walk in the fall. He has to wait until the Spring. His scholly is still on the books.
