Jordan Jefferson to take the Stand when the jury reconvenes. Also, 18 players have signed witness testimony on Jefferson's behalf.

my main hope is that it doesn't implicate any other players.

It is one thing to lie to the police, but to lie to a judge under oath. That is BAD! That would have LEGAL ramifications and would be disastrous.

I think it's almost certain that some LSU football player(s) kicked a dude in the head repeatedly while he was down and outmanned in a bar fight, and any players doing this should be kicked off the team in my opinion.
The fact that Johns & Jefferson are facing major charges, while nobody else does, looks very bad for them. It's hard to believe that prosecutors would be so incompetent to just randomly charge guys based on the most exciting rumors out there.
On the other hand, the case is looking bad for prosecutors right now. You don't necessarily have to have a criminal case against a player in order for the coach to decide that he needs to be kicked off the team, but at this point, I suppose it's possible that the B.R. prosecutors just Nifong-ed this thing from start to finish.
Even so, it still seems like if JJ had some kind of involvement in the fight, or else the behavior of Miles and the rest of the team really doesn't seem to make much sense to me.

I am assuming for the sake of clarity that you are referring to the "victims" too.

It's not prosecutors; its the BRPD.
The prosecutors never officially accepted the charges, hence why this is going to the Grand Jury.

Strike "prosecutors" and insert "the powers that be."

grand jury is going to hear witnesses who directly contradict each other they will have to decide who they believe
IMO there will be some people who will be dumb enough to lie on the stand-
