Ridiculous and a post without reality.

compare the stats, it's not even close...our offense was the only reason we were in some games with that pathetic excuse of a defense we had

And so we return 60% of the OL, WTF is your point?

No it isn't.

But that doesn't mean we need to throw a 19-yr old under the bus for doing his best.

He'll learn, and he'll improve.

Why not, we did it last year to Lee...he never had a lack of talent, he acquired a lack of confidence

thank fricking you

the absolute pure hate directed at Lee last year is nowhere close to the criticism that Jefferson has gotten thus far

Still posting crap and like I've said before. Being called that by you is a compliment coming from a clueless buffoon like yourself. Go play in a busy street!

The stats have been posted earlier today and Jefferson's are MUCH better than Lee's. Completion percentage, TD to INT ratio, QB rating, etc.

What do you have against stats that clearly prove you are wrong?

The bottom line is Lee performed "during his chance" as well as Matt Stafford did during his first year at GA.

Lee has proven he can win(see Auburn last year). he had the fortitude to come back despite all the criticism and knowning that he was going to be behind JJ and knowing Shepard was coming in.

Enough of this "he had his chance crap". if we all only had one chance in life, must of us would be on the junk heap.

JJ is the one who has proven he is indecisive, inconsistant, can't throw the deep ball, can't read defenses, no pocket presence and can't run the option. Other than that he is a good backup at best.

a capable offense in 2008 vs a pathetic clusterfrick of an offense in 2009

and the positions with new starters- LG, C, FB, and QB

of those 4, which has the biggest impact on an offense?

I think we should give Lee a shot with a whole lot more Russell Shepard.

If Lee reverts to Pick Six Lee, treat him the same and give JJ another shot.

There is no sense staying with JJ right now. It's not working and it's clear he is holding the team back.

Go with Lee and RS (but for heaven's sake, let RS throw every now and then).

not many starting qb's were up to SEC standards when they were true freshman.

Maybe you've forgotten JaMarcuses first year to play as a redshirt freshman.

One question...what do you guys think are the chances that a QB in College Football is going to throw 6 "pick 6's" again?? How rare do you really think that is?? Maybe the whole team had something to do with it, didn't tackle the way they should have...example: The Bama game, the guy runs it back the length of the field, I think that was more of an attitude issue.
I am going to go out on a limb here and say one more game like last night, and Scott, LaFell, Dickson...are going to start speaking up because they aren't getting the ball...their "paychecks"/"NFL Draft status" is going down the drain minute by minute...

Oh....Jefferson is a deer in headlights out there...

I haven't rehabilitated Lee at all. He was a freshman thrown to the wolves last year. I've heard numerous coaches including the Little Napoleon say there is a light bulb that has to come on and it takes a season or so for that to happen in a qb. I think he will do much better if on the field this year or next.

No, it is not half and half. My estimate based on watching the games would be 70% of the sacks are poor OL play and the other 30% are related to Jefferson eitherholding the ball too long or actually running into the pass rushers.

11 Sacks in 2 games and about 8 are Jefferson's fault

Put me in as qb! I'll do it. I can throw really far but I'm not very fast at 255. So here's the deal if I play bad in game situations not practice then it's you guys faults for grading my poor performance badly! I could have shepard work with with me on my running game. Lol come on open your eyes to our situation. 2 shaky tried and true QB's than one of them could have changed emphasis on could have, so maybe try him some and or try the phenom that is the best dual threat we have. I believe better passer and runner than any of our qb's.
