Jordan Jefferson is clearly the best QB on the roster now

I don't know if the Jarrett Lee cultists root for LSU and are just clueless or really aren't even LSU fans. But the bottom line is Lee had his chance, and he proven not up to SEC starting QB standards. All the revisionist history or garbage about Jefferson being responsible for his own sacks is delusionary.

No it isn't.

But that doesn't mean we need to throw a 19-yr old under the bus for doing his best.

He'll learn, and he'll improve.

It really is half and half, Jordan fanatics refuse to give Jefferson any blame and Lee people think he has dramatically changed.

Wait.. the replay is on right now.. IM pretty sure.. Jefferson had 3 sacks last night due to running out of the pocket THEN back into the pocket.. The last play on 4th down he held on to the ball literally 5 seconds.. how long do you need to make a decision?

It's partly the OL and partly the QB. But the OL is way older and more experienced and should be a strength.

Lee might of had his chance but so has JJ. He the 109th ranked offense to 3 points to florida. I say if we dont give Lee a chance why not give Shepard around half the snaps. I bet we account for more than 160 yards against Bama if we do that

I will side with Danielson CBS really hit the nail on the head; in the SEC you can't beat the best teams without a quarterback.

My only knock is that JJ looks lost in the pocket. He seems to not know what to do when he does a 3-5 step drop. He is a true baller no doubt but come on we cannot take a sack when you got WHEELS man.....

Not really, comparing stats from lsat year, most of the offense is back, except for D-bryd and 2 offensive line guys. The rest is still there.

What about the people that feel that Lee and Jefferson are at about the same point in their development, but our offense needs to try just about anything right now to get the gears moving?

No, it is not half and half. My estimate based on watching the games would be 70% of the sacks are poor OL play and the other 30% are related to Jefferson eitherholding the ball too long or actually running into the pass rushers.

Ridiculous and a post without reality. Oh, and BTW, LSU lost 40% of their offensive line but I guess the OL isn't important right?

How about some middle ground - Jefferson does not appear to be making progress and we don't know if Lee has.
